"Overall, I was hugely impressed with the quality of the Instructors and the slick organisation of the whole week. I've already started recommending Jagged Globe to friends." SW, Winter Mountaineering 2011 Scotland has long been a training ground for climbers preparing for the Alps and mountaineering in the Greater Ranges. Our Scottish Winter Courses provide you with the skills to join an expedition, venture into the mountains more confidently on your own or tackle a more challenging climbing course. The programme covers a wide range of instruction, from introductory winter walking to high standard snow, ice and mixed climbing. We are strategically based near Glencoe in the Western Highlands, which is the best location in Scotland to access a variety of climbing and mountaineering venues, depending on the weather, and snow and ice conditions. Most of our guides and instructors regularly lead expeditions for us further afield and are able to advise you about your future mountaineering. Courses Selector
