UPDATE 30 Nov '11: Please note that our 2012 and 2013 pricing includes recent price increases from the Chinese Mountaineering Association (CMA), which apply to all climbers on Cho Oyu from next year.

This expedition is an excellent opportunity for climbers to extend their experience to extreme altitudes and is highly recommended as a first 8,000m Peak, or as a stepping-stone to an attempt on Everest. The comparative ease of access, lack of objective dangers and generally uncomplicated terrain makes Cho Oyu the most attainable of the world's highest mountains. Experience Required

The Cho Oyu expedition is suitable for experienced mountaineers. To join us on Cho Oyu, you need to be fully conversant with mountaineering techniques. Ideally, having completed Alpine climbs equivalent to AD and have prior altitude experience of around 6,000m.
