The West Rib is the name given to the prominent spur, which marks the western end of Denali's southern flanks. Experience Required

The West Rib is a climbing route requiring a high degree of commitment. IClimbers must be experienced on steep snow and ice (up to 60°)and be able to climb with a heavy pack (up to 27kgs / 60lbs). It is also necessary for climbers to be fully conversant with rope-work and belaying.
