Introduction

Khumbu Climber is a fast-moving and ambitious expedition, taking us into the heart of the Khumbu Region with our sights set on three peaks up to 6,189m high. The itinerary and our small group sizes (maximum 9 places) enable us to do a lot of climbing while viewing some of the world's highest mountains. Our objectives are Pokalde (5,806m), Island Peak (6,189m) and Lobuje East (6,119m). We climb all of them by their standard routes, which equate to Scottish II/Alpine grades PD. Therefore participants need to have completed climbs of a similar standard, with our Winter Mountaineering course in Scotland and our 4,000ers courses in the Alps being ideal preparation... read more
