Update from Max Hunter in Scotland
Jagged Globe ñ Private Guiding ñ 5 day course.
Yesterday (4 Jan) I met up with Lucy for a 5 day Private Course for Jagged Globe. After talking, it was clear that she was able to take a very accelerated learning curve for winter climbing / mountaineering. So we started with some winter skills, then some mountaineering skills, then Lucy very quickly became a competent second, during an ascent of Number 2 gully, and a quick descent of Number 4 gully.
A great first day.
Other people climbed No.3 gully, No.4 gully, No.5 gully, Tower Ridge, Tower Scoop, Tower gully, Good Friday, No.2 Gully buttress, No.3 Gully Buttress (and other climbs). A team tried Point Five ñ but it wasnít properly in yet, they reported.
