Really well done to the following summiteers that were on the top of Uhuru Peak (5895m) at 06.30 on 20 October, reaching the top in very cold, strong winds.

Holly, Lucy, Andy, Jeremy, Ed, Kipp, Howard and Tom.

And a mention to the vital support of the Tanzanian guides who’s support on the mountain is always invaluable in getting everyone to the top: Kazim, Patrick, Thomas, Rashid, and Osca - thank you.

And of course the rest of the Porters, Cooks and other support staff all who made the whole experience enjoyable and achievable.

Andy won’t forget the location of the amazing cake baked by the cooks celebrating his birthday on Kilimanjaro.

Thank you very much for the company and great banter on the hill.
