Kilimanjaro - 13 to 25 Sep '04

Eight members of the Jagged Globe expedition to Mt Meru and Kilimanjaro summitted on Meru at 0615 on Thursday,16th Sept 04 and on Uhuru Point at 0615 on Wednesday, 22 Sept 04. The successful summiteers were Elsa Bates, Pete Costello, John Fursman, Cath Hartnett, Mike Hewison, Jonathan Kaye, Steve Williams and Victoria Wooderson. The expedition leader was Gordon Thompson. The trip was blessed by mild weather throughout, the group saw plenty of wildlife and the in-country support from the Keys Hotel was exceptional. « | »
