Off Piste Skiing

Off Piste Skiing courses encompass everything outside the piste-marker poles. For intermediate piste skiers, we have courses where you will take your first few turns off the edge of a piste. For experieced off piste skiers, we use touring bindings and skins, in addition to the resort lifts, to access untracked powder and steeper lines on our 'Perfection' courses. Whether your goal is to improve your technique, so that you can delight in skiing deep powder, or you aspire to ski mountaineer and want to bridge the gap from the piste to mountain summits, our expert guides and instructors will help you get there.

Jagged Globe Off Piste Ski Courses are run by experienced professionals with a long track record skiing, touring and instructing all over the globe. They are qualified at the highest level. The courses include video feedback to assist your development.

Ski Mountaineering

Ski Mountaineering (or 'Ski Touring') is a great way to experience the Alps during the spring, when skis are the ultimate mode of transport through the mountains. The Alps offer some wonderful skiing opportunities, taking you away from the busy resorts with long, exciting off piste runs and scenic tours over high passes and even to mountain summits. You don't have to be a brilliant skier either. With just a little previous off piste skiing experience, you can join one of our introductory level courses or tours.

We have been organising ski tours for well over a decade and we believe our guides have as much experience of ski touring all over the world, as anyone. Beyond the European Alps, from Mt Ararat, to Syria, New Zealand to Antarctica and Greenland to Chile, each year they also lead even more adventurous expeditions on skis.

Our Ski Mountaineering Courses are led by IFMGA guides Jim Blyth and Andy Owen, both of whom have skied all over the world.
