Whether trekker or climber, we believe that everyone should benefit from the same well-measured itineraries, under the care of experienced high-altitude leaders. No team member deserves to fail by someone else's disregard of the time needed to acclimatise. So, if you compare our trekking itineraries with others, in general you will find them longer. This is to make you better acclimatised so not only may you complete the trek, but so you will enjoy every day of the walk as well, immersing yourself in the life and culture of the mountains as you travel. Our trek leaders pride themselves on a thorough knowledge of the mountains, the people who live there, the flora, the fauna and the diverse cultures of the region in which you will be travelling. They have been chosen for their ability to handle matters with sensitivity and regard for the well-being of trek members, as well as giving every consideration to the sensibilities of the local people you will meet whilst trekking. Some of our tougher treks are led by Western Leaders, who have suitable mountain experience. On our Everest Base Camp Trek and Annapurna Sanctuary Treks, we appoint English speaking, Sherpa leaders, who we are confident can look after a group of diverse people, with different levels of experience and aspirations. Combining the knowledge of our leaders with the unique expertise and planning we bring to the organisation of your trek, Jagged Globe assures you of the best and most successful treks available.
