NEW: Two-week trek to Everest

If you are short on holiday leave, but still want to trek in Nepal and see the world's highest mountain, then we have a new trekking itinerary that fits the bill. Ama Dablam Base Camp can be done in 15 days from the UK (13 days from Kathmandu). The trip spends 10 days on trek and takes in the highlights of the Khumbu Valley and the Everest Trail, including Namche Bazaar and the famous Monastery at Thyangboche.

We are very careful to provide plenty of time to acclimatise, before making the final ascent to Ama Dablam Base Camp, a lovely grassy area at 4,570m. Here, we will have one night in tents, watching the sun dip behind a jagged panorama of Himalayan peaks, before descending back down the Everest trail. The trek culminates with a day to explore the sights of Kathmandu, including its many temples and shops. Our first trek departs this coming November (Dates: 6 - 20 November. Price £1,790 inc flights from London). The trek is led by a Jagged Globe leader, supported by a Sherpa Guide and porters and stays in Tea Houses along the route.
