Introduction
Each summer we organise Alpine itineraries on a bespoke basis for our clients. This might be for 1:1 guiding or 1:2 guiding with a friend, where you have specific objectives in mind. You might also have a specific Jagged Globe Guide in mind who you have climbed with before, so please ask us if they are available, though we cannot guarantee them without you booking well in advance of the summer. Our prices include all the Guides' fees (including their guiding fees, uplift, accommodation and travel expenses) and your valley and mountain hut accommodation. Please contact us on 0114 276 3322 to discuss your programme and we will provide a written quote. You then need to pay a £300 deposit per person, with the final balance due 42 days prior to the start of the course.

Pricing
Prices for private guiding depend on the number of participants, the ratio of participants to Guides, the venue and the activities to be undertaken. Many routes in the Alps such as the standard routes on Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn and the Eiger have specified guiding ratios. Therefore, you can expect to pay a lot more to be guided on these more technical climbs than you would for general mountaineering at a lower ratio, where the costs are split between more people. The cost per day for 1:2 guiding is generally around £450 - £500 per person for routes up to Alpine AD (See Inclusions / Exclusions below). 1:1 guiding is normally between £650 - £750 per day, depending on whether you are in France or Switzerland. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and we will produce a formal quote, at no obligation.
