NEW: Makalu Base Camp Trek

Following our reconnaissance of the Makalu-Barun National Park last Spring, we are offering a Makalu Base Camp Trek in both Spring and Autumn 2011, along with our Barun Valley Climber expedition, and an attempt on Makalu - the world's fifth highest mountain. The Makalu Base Camp Trek will journey all the way to the South East Base Camp, and then gain a viewpoint towards Advance Base Camp at c5,500m on the South East Ridge. From here there is a fabulous vista of Everest, Lhotse, Chamlang and Baruntse, as well as impressive views along the ridge itself.
