Cho Oyu spring 2016

We recently made the switch to offering our Cho Oyu expeditions in the pre-monsoon season, rather than post-monsoon, as the last few years have seen more unstable weather in the autumn/fall. Permits for Cho Oyu are not available for this coming post-monsoon, but our contacts in China suggest that this will not affect next spring. We still have places on our 2016 team, though the expedition is now half-full, so don't leave it too late if you are thinking about joining us. Matt Parkes, who has been to Cho Oyu twice before and led a very successful ascent in 2011, will lead the team. We consider Cho Oyu to be by far the most objectively safe 8,000m peak.
