Stok Kangri - guaranteed
Stok Kangri, located in Ladakh, Northern India, is probably the most accessible and 'doable' 6,000m peak in our expedition programme. We have climbed it every summer since we first went there, in 1988. It's a superb and varied 16-day (ex UK) trip, with a remote and interesting trek to reach base camp and a varied climb involving easy scrambling, to get to the 6,121m summit. This summer, expedition leader, Harry McAulay, is leading the 3 August departure, which is now 'guaranteed'. Harry has been leading Jagged Globe teams for nearly as long as we have been climbing Stok Kangri and is very familiar with Ladakh, it's culture and customs.
