Winter Toubkal summit!
Our Winter Toubkal Climb team had some cold conditions in Morocco's High Atlas Mountains last week. They were still able to summit both Toubkal and Ras n'Ouanoukrim. Trek leader, Ella Wright said:
"Summit day was forecasting strong northerly winds, but the team were strong an well equipped so we went for it.
11:00am summit on Toubkal and it was -17 on the top.
We weren't there for long before running away from the winds.
A much nicer forecast for the next day enticed us to go for Ras Ouanoukrim (2nd highest peak)
A much more exposed mountain with a tricky ridge section before the final long snow slopes to the top.

The weather was incredible and the team were all strong. What a way to end a fantastic trip."
