Published by Vertebrate Publishing. A portrait of the best rock climber in the UK during the late '70s and early '80s.
The Hut Builder by Laurence Fearnley
Pubished by Penguin Books, New Zealand. A novel about the mountains of New Zealand and building an early hut on Mount Cook with Ed Hillary.
Climbing Philosophy for Everyone by Stephen E. Schmid
Published by Wiley-Blackwell. The name says it all!
Unjustifiable Risk? by Simon Thompson
Published by Cicerone Press. A history of British climbing and climbers at home and abroad.
The winner will be announced at the Kendal Mountain Festival on 19 November.
