Greg Mortimer summits Manaslu

Greg Mortimer, one of Australia\'s top high altitude climbers and a guide on our South Georgia Traverse last November, has summitted on Manaslu with 3 other Australians and a Sherpa.

Greg\'s mountaineering achievements include the first ever ascent of the South face of Annapurna Two in 1983; the first Australian ascent of the North face of Everest, without the use of supplementary oxygen, in 1984; and in 1990 the first Australian ascent of K2.

Manaslu is the 8th highest mountain in the world.
