Climb Mount Kenya this New Year

An ascent of Mount Kenya's highest summits, Nelion and Batian is high on the wish list of many aspiring high altitude rock climbers and Alpinists. The route up the SE face of Nelion and across the 'Gates of Mist' to Batian, is the best way to the summit during the popular December/January climbing period. Jagged Globe teams have climbed this route a handful of times, it involves 20 pitches of climbing, so you need to be able to move quick climbing in mountain boots on rock up to grade Hard Severe.
