Updated: Makalu Base Camp Trek

We've updated our Makalu Base Camp Trek itinerary and will now use "Tea Houses" (Lodges) where we can. Our itinerary treks all the way to base camp at the foot of the South East Ridge. The high point is a viewpoint at 5,500m which provides panoramic views of some of the world's highest mountains, including Everest (8,850m), Lhotse (8,516m), Makalu (8,463m), Chamlang (7,319m) and Baruntse (7,220m).
