Summits in Ecuador!
Congratulations to the team of climbers who got away to Ecuador over the festive period. In bitterly cold winds they climbed Cotopaxi on Boxing Day. Joanne opted for Cayambe as she'd climbed Cotopaxi previously and was rewarded by an incredible sunrise (see photos above). Due to heavy snowfall and avalanche risk, Chimborazo was not possible so the team pivoted and travelled to Illiniza instead. Between them they climbed both the North and South peaks before travelling home for New Year.
Our next 'Climb Cotopaxi' team departs 15 January (1 place available).Other dates in July, November and December 2022.
