Gasherbrum II summits!
Robert Anderson reports that our team summited at 0600hrs (21 July) and returned to Camp 3 in a 14.5 hour round trip. They are all back in C3 and planning to descend to Camp 2 later today. Aga, Jo, Dorji, Ali, Delwar, Mehdi and Akbar summited. Robert bailed at about 7500m (stomach not happy for 2 weeks), and Mani. Robert said the weather was better than expected and that it was a great route.
22 July: the team are in C2 in a snowstorm. Tired but all well. C1 and BC tomorrow.
23 July: the team are all safely in base camp.
