Success on Lungser Kangri (6,662m) in India

Leader, Tore Rasmussen, has contacted us to say his team are back in Leh celebrating with their local staff and Sherpas. Five members of the team, plus Tore, summited Lungser Kangri (6,662m) on Monday 22 July. in 3.5 hours from high camp. The entire team completed the acclimatisation trek from Chilling to Dat, including the crossing of the Zalung Karpo La (5,197m).

Our Rupshu and Lungser Kangri trek travels through a beautiful part of south east Ladakh and culminates in an ascent of the non-technical peak, Lungser Kangri.
