Introduction

Crete has attracted visitors for centuries drawn by the climate, scenery, a rich history that spans millennia and the warm welcome from the inhabitants. The dramatic mountains which form the backbone of the island make it a gem for ski tourers who like something a little different.

We aim to ski for the first three days on the island’s highest mountain, Psiloritis and the surrounding, slightly smaller summits. We finish with a four-day traverse of the western Lefki Ori, the White Mountains.

Itinerary

Here is an outline itinerary for this trip.

Outline Itinerary

Day 1:We arrive at Heraklion airport where we will be met by Giorgos. We rent vans then transfer to Anogeia to the north of Psiloritis.
Day 2 - 8:Ski touring - please contact us for the day-to-day itinerary.
Day 9:Fly home via Athens.
