Norway's incredible Lofoten Islands

Introduction

The coast of Norway is one of the most beautiful in the world and the Lofoten Islands are as scenic as the coast gets. Rising from the shore are countless stunning mountains made for skiing. We will be day touring from comfortable former fishing cabins. Accompanying Jim Blyth throughout will be his friend and local expert, Espen Nordahl. Espen is the author of the ski touring guidebook to Lyngen and Troms and is currently 'researching' the mountains of Lofoten for a new guidebook to the area.

Day 1:	Fly to Evenes where we will be met by Espen. Drive to Svolvær and settle into our cabins at Svinøya.
Day 2 - 7:	Day touring with light packs - please contact us for the itinerary.
Day 8:	Return to Evenes and fly home.
