The Tatra Mountains

Introduction

The Polish and Slovak Tatras form the eastern extremity of the 1500km Carpathian Mountains. The Tatras are the highest in the range with many summits of around 2500m. On this trip we will explore the Polish side of the Western and High Tatras staying in comfortable huts and simple hotels. Polish mountain guide Helena will be skiing with Jim Blyth and the group.

Day 1:	Fly to Krakow then transfer to Zakopane. Overnight hotel.
Day 2 - 7:	Ski touring - please contact us for the day-to-day itinerary.
Day 8:	Fly home from Krakow.
