Ski the Sawtooths of Idaho the Beartooths of Montana and the Tetons of Wyoming

Introduction

This is a classic rock ski road trip visiting three of the most famous mountain ranges for skiing in the western US, the Sawtooths of Idaho, the Beartooths of Montana and the Tetons of Wyoming. In each location we are teaming up with very experienced local guides to ensure we get the best skiing there is and top tips as to where we should be for the evening vibes. We should be skiing powder.

We will be day touring from comfortable accommodation in each of the three locations using our rented Chevrolet Suburbans or bus to get around.

Start point: Boise, Idaho
Grade: 10B
This road trip is for a small group of around six skiers. There is potential for a lot of skiing and we all very much hope for the world-renowned powder of the western US. If it's as good as last time it will be unforgettable. The terrain is non-glaciated and we are day touring so packs are light. The aim is to start with a smooth relaxed rhythm and to maintain it throughout.
